CHARSADDA: Unidentified armed men killed a man in front of his wife in the Umarzai area of the district, police sources said.
According to the details, armed men stopped Fida Muhammad and his wife in Chishtiabad village in the Umarzai area. They opened fire on Fida, leaving him seriously injured, and let his wife go unharmed.
Fida was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police registered a case against unidentified gunmen and started an investigation. Later, Fida’s close friend Roshan died of a heart attack apparently after hearing about his friend’s murder. Both Fida and Roshan were buried at their ancestral graveyard in Umarzai.
