ISLAMABAD: Acting ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan Marwan RM Mardad has stated that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have deep rooted relations and the historic friendship of both the neighbouring countries was strong like iron. He expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation of the All Pakistan Newspaper Employees Confederation (APNEC) that included Secretary General Syed Ikram Bukhari, Chairman Local APNEC Muhammad Sadiq Anzar and Finance Secretary Media Workers Organisation Pakistan (MWOP) Ishtiaq Ahmed. He said that the Pakistani media was liberal, adding that with the cooperation of the media, bilateral relations of both countries would be further strengthened.
He said that Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was on the way of progress owing to the revolutionary measures of the King Salman. He added that Saudi Arabia would be the most advanced country in the world soon.
He said that owing to the financial crisis of three or four main construction companies, the wages of some Pakistanis workers were delayed.
He said that Pakistan was an important country of the Muslim world and whenever Pakistan met calamities, the leadership of Saudi Arabia, including its citizens, helped the people of Pakistan.
He said that Pak -Saudi Arabia’s friendship would not be jeopardised at any cost.
