OKARA: Two dacoits were allegedly killed in firing by their own accomplices who targeted a police van in Depalpur police precincts on Monday.
According to details, Depalpur police were taking two accused- involved in a robbery case – for recovery of booty when their four accomplices intercepted the police vehicle near Bahri Pur and managed to get them released from police custody. Police chased down the accused robbers, which led to an exchange of fire between police and the outlaws, killing both the accused Musanaf Sheikh and Akram.
